1. Acceptance
By accessing Yoga.lk or creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Use and any applicable policies or standards published on the website. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.
2. Yoga.lk registry services
Yoga.lk provides online registry, application, directory, verification, continuing education and related administrative services. Registration categories, standards, fees and processes may be updated from time to time.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and notifying Yoga.lk if you believe your account has been compromised. Accounts must not be created or used to impersonate another person or organization.
4. Applications and credentials
Applicants must provide truthful, current and complete information and supporting documentation. Yoga.lk may request clarification, additional evidence or verification. Submission of an application does not guarantee approval.
Registration is subject to the applicable Yoga.lk requirements and administrative review. A Yoga.lk registration should not be represented as a government license, medical qualification, academic award or NVQ qualification unless the relevant authority has separately granted that status.
5. RYT-SL, RYS-SL and CEP-SL
Registered teachers, schools and continuing education providers must accurately represent their registration category, status, programs and qualifications. Registration may expire, be renewed, suspended or otherwise change according to the applicable rules.
6. RYS-SL 700 and national qualifications
Where an RYS-SL 700 program claims a Sri Lankan NVQ qualification, the provider and program must independently satisfy the applicable national requirements and approvals. Yoga.lk registration does not itself award an NVQ qualification.
7. Fees, payments and renewals
Applicable fees are presented through the relevant registration or renewal process. Users are responsible for providing accurate payment information and completing required payments. Renewal does not automatically occur unless the applicable service expressly states otherwise.
8. Public directories and verification
Directory listings are intended to communicate registry information to the public. Users must not copy, manipulate, misrepresent or use registry information to falsely imply endorsement. Verification results should be interpreted according to the status and information displayed by Yoga.lk.
9. Claims and reports
Claims and reports must be submitted honestly and in good faith. Do not knowingly submit false, malicious, defamatory or fraudulent information. Yoga.lk may review submissions and take appropriate administrative action, but submission of a report does not establish wrongdoing.
10. Prohibited use
- Attempting unauthorized access to accounts or systems.
- Submitting fraudulent credentials or documents.
- Misrepresenting Yoga.lk registration or approval.
- Abusing forms, directories, verification tools or communications.
- Using automated methods to overload or interfere with the website.
- Uploading malicious code or unlawful material.
11. Intellectual property
Yoga.lk branding, original website content, graphics, software and other protected materials may not be reproduced or commercially exploited without appropriate permission, except where permitted by law.
12. Suspension and termination
Yoga.lk may suspend or restrict access where there is suspected fraud, abuse, security risk, serious misrepresentation or violation of these terms or applicable registry requirements. Where appropriate, we may request clarification or corrective action before making a final administrative decision.
13. Changes and availability
We may change these terms, standards, services or website features. We may also experience maintenance, outages or interruptions. We will make reasonable efforts to keep important information current.
